King Schools "35th Anniversary" Sweepstakes Official Rules

1. NO PURCHASE OR ONLINE ENTRY NECESSARY TO ENTER. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
2. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: No purchase or online entry necessary. Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) on Thursday, July 1, 2010 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (PT) on Monday, March 14, 2011, ("the entry period").
3. ELIGIBILITY: This sweepstakes is open to individuals who are legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia (void where prohibited by law) and are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Prize Package winner (or Prize Package winner´s spouse, son, daughter, mother or father) must be certified as a Student, Sport, Recreational, Private, Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot as of February 28, 2011. A current medical is not necessary to win or to take the training for the seaplane rating and "Bush Pilot" training prizes. However, to be eligible to take a checkride for the seaplane single-engine rating, the applicant must have a Private Pilot certificate or higher and a current medical. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of King Schools, Inc., ("Sponsor") and their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, contractors working on the product, project or promotion, advertising and promotional agencies, advertising vendors (i.e. magazines where advertised) and the immediate family members of King Schools employees are not eligible. Sweepstakes entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. The laws of the United States govern this sweepstakes. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
4. HOW TO ENTER: There are three (3) ways to enter this sweepstakes. 1.) Automatically by Purchasing: You are automatically entered into the sweepstakes each time you make an eligible purchase of new products from King Schools, Inc., or complete and mail a King Schools comment card "within the entry period" of the sweepstakes (any eligible person who completes and submits an official King Schools customer comment card enclosed in each King School´s order shipped will automatically receive an entry if mailed within the entry period). 2.) Automatically by Enrolling: You are automatically entered into the sweepstakes each time you enroll in any King Schools Online Course during the entry period. 3.) Write-in Method: Print your name, address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, and e-mail address (if any), on a postcard and mail to: King Schools´ 35th Anniversary Sweepstakes, 3840 Calle Fortunada, San Diego, CA 92123. Mail in entries must be on a United States Postal Service regulation standard size POSTCARD only, and postmarked during the entry period and received by March 21, 2011. Only postcards will be accepted as a Write-in Method.
5. Each method of sweepstakes entry is limited to one entry, per entrant, per entry-day as received by King Schools during the entry period. BULK MAILINGS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated or postage due entries or mail, or for any computer, online, telephone, or human error or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
6. WINNER SELECTION: Random drawing to select the Prize Package winner will be conducted on or about March 28, 2011, under the supervision of an independent public accounting firm, whose decisions are final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received, estimated at 1:100,000.
7. ONE PRIZE PACKAGE (GUARANTEED TO BE AWARDED) CONSISTING OF THE FOLLOWING PRIZES:
   1. Seaplane Rating Vacation consisting of:
      1. An add-on single-engine seaplane rating course for a Private or Commercial Pilot Certificate (up to 5 hours of training including instructor, aircraft, aircraft fuel, checkride costs and examiner´s fees. To be eligible to take the checkride for the single-engine seaplane rating, the applicant must have a Private Pilot certificate or higher, and a current medical);
      2. A standard "Bush Pilot" course with mountain flying training (up to 5 hours of training including instructor, aircraft, and aircraft fuel);
      3. Round-trip airfare for two from any location with airline Part 121 service within the 50 United States to the training location;
      4. Car rental;
      5. Single-room lodging for the six days of training;
      6. $1,000.00 cash for expenses during the Seaplane Rating Vacation;
   2. Redbird TD desk-mounted simulator from Redbird Flight Simulations, Inc.; and
   3. KING Get-It-All kit of the winner´s choosing.
   Estimated retail value of the Prize Package at drawing: $15,000. Winner is responsible for all assessments, taxes and fees that result from winning the Prize Package. No substitution, cash alternative, transfer, or assignment of prize permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the sole right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value (or cash value) in the event the offered prize is unavailable.
8. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Prize Package winner, regardless of entry method, will receive notification that he or she has been selected to win the Prize Package, along with Eligibility and Fulfillment instructions within two (2) weeks after drawing. Winner will be notified by overnight mail and will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability/Publicity Release within seven (7) days of date printed on notification or he/she will be disqualified and the first runner-up will be selected as winner. If prize notification letter is returned as undeliverable, it will result in disqualification, and the prize will be awarded to the alternate winner. Acceptance of the Prize Package constitutes permission for Sponsor to use winner´s name, likeness, and likeness of the Prize Package won for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. By entering, participants release and hold harmless King Schools, Inc., its parent and/or associate companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Sweepstakes or use of the Prize Package.
9. COMMUNICATIONS: Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by Sponsor due to technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. Sponsor or its agents will not accept correspondence or telephone inquiries regarding the status of entries or the administration of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, or suspend the Sweepstakes in whole or in part should a cause or event beyond the control of Sponsor affect the administration, fairness, proper play or conduct of the Sweepstakes making continuation impossible. NOTICE: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
10. WINNER'S NAME: To receive the name of winner, available after April 15, 2011, send a self-addressed stamped envelope by March 31, 2011, to: Prize Package Winner, 3840 Calle Fortunada, San Diego, CA 92123.
11. SPONSOR: The Sponsor of this sweepstakes is King Schools, 3840 Calle Fortunada, San Diego, CA 92123. If you would like to have your name and address removed from any future sweepstakes mailings sent by King Schools, you may do so by sending your request to the Sponsor at the above address.
