King Schools has trained 1 out of every 2 pilots!
This course is designed to prepare students to take their FAA A&P Tests. You will need practical experience in order to take the mechanic written tests.
The video instruction of each KING A&P course is approximately 10 hours.
The applicant must have 30 months of provable and practical A&P experience.
You should check with your local Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) to see if your experience meets the requirements.
The applicant would need to take that documentation to the nearest Flight Standards District Office and after the FAA has reviewed the experience, they will give the applicant form 8060-7 for each test if the experience is approved.
You can check the FAA.gov website at http://www.faa.gov/training_testing/testing/media/test_centers.pdf for a testing center near you.
