Software Development Manager
Department and Reporting Relationship: Software Development reporting directly to the CTO
General Job Requirements and Objectives:
- Be able to simultaneously manage multiple development projects while adhering to tight schedules
- Provide strong technical leadership and expertise in architecture, design and coding
- Develop the architecture and high-level design of King Schools projects with an emphasis on reuse
- Develop software specifications and documentation for subsystems and components
- Personally create and deliver well documented efficient code, on time with few defects
- Constantly evaluate new technologies and their applicability to King Schools projects
- Support Marketing in the technical definition of new projects
- Support the CTO in the identification of risk and the development of mitigation strategies
- Have the ability to weigh conflicting considerations when examining problems and issues
- Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Management and Leadership
- Monitor employee performance to maintain organizational control — Set clear and understandable goals and standards for each employee and group — Follow up on employee work assignments — Take prompt corrective action when required — Cultivate a constructive sense of urgency — Encourage and maintain focus on needs and success of customer — Be cost conscious in planning and actions

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Leadership experience developing large scale software systems from concept through delivery
- Expertise in software development utilizing Microsoft .Net technologies including C# and ASP.Net
- Knowledge of distributed computing processes and concepts
- Expertise in SQL Server development methodologies

Telemarketer
Pilots needed to sell King Schools Video Courses to Pilots.
Location: San Diego, CA
Salary: $10.00 per hour, plus commission. No experience necessary. Complete training provided. Pilots preferred.
Hours: - Monday - Thursday: 4-8 PM
- Saturday: 8 AM - 12 Noon
- Sunday: 3-7 PM
